In 1940s
Mr. Jagganath Sayanna Goski. established the foundations of the Goski brand by producing high-quality sarees manufacturing from handlooms, gaining recognition in & around state of Maharashtra, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh for their exceptional durability and craftsmanship.
In 1964
Mr. Shantaram Jagganath Goski(Second Generation). The first Textile Engineer from the Padmashali Community in India, from VJTI(Mumbai). Established a sizing unit in 1975 to meet the needs of power loom units in Solapur, extending the family’s reach within the textile industry.
In 1992
Mr. Rajesh Shantaram Goski. Representing the Third generation, launched a yarn doubling unit to support the growing demand for bath & terry towels businesses in Solapur.
In 1997
M/s. Goski Industries began manufacturing terry towels, quickly earning a reputation for producing high-quality terry towels under the brand’s modest beginnings, supplying Merchant Exporters.
In 2003
The company achieved a significant milestone by implementing a quality management system, earning ISO 9001-2000 certification from SGS. This made M/s. Goski Industries the first power loom factory in India to attain this certification, marking a new standard in quality and process excellence.
In 2004
Buoyed by the ISO certification, M/s. Goski Industries began exporting terry towels directly to international markets. Within two years, the company shifted to 100% exports, supplying countries like Japan, Germany, France, Italy, South Africa, and The Middle East among all others.
In 2008
M/s. Goski Industries rebranded as Goski Terry Towels, signaling growth and leadership under the vision of Mr. Rajesh Goski, a Third-generation entrepreneur.
In 2016
Under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh, The Fourth Generation assumed responsibility for the company, continuing the family legacy while focusing on innovation and global expansion. Mr. Shreyas Rajesh Goski took charge of shopfloor operations, focusing on increasing capacity and automation. Starting with a modest 1-ton/day production capacity, he began spearheading the modernization of the company’s manufacturing processes.
In 2024
Despite industry challenges, M/s. Goski Terry Towels transformed into Goski International Private Limited. The fourth generation continued expanding the company’s reach and scale. Today, Goski International’s production capacity has increased tenfold, boasting fully automated European machinery from start to finish. The company remains focused on quality and efficiency, positioning itself as a leader in textile manufacturing on the global stage and started implementing the industry 3.0 & 4.0 into the existing production capacity in the leadership of Fourth Generation.
